- 1 Table spoon olive oil
- 1 lb. Italian sausage, casings removed
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 able spoon Italian seasoning
- salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 able spoon all purpose flour
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 9 oz. cheese tortellini
- ½ bunch of kale, stems removed and leaves chopped
- ⅓ cup heavy cream
- 3 table spoon chopped basil

- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add Italian sausage and cook until browned, breaking it up into small pieces with a spoon.
